A Day in the Life

at HopeWest PACE

HopeWest PACE helps seniors navigate the complicated issues associated with aging. Our program helps seniors to continue to live in the community.

What a day might look like for a PACE Participant…

The HopeWest PACE Day Center is an active place where seniors have access to medical care, social activities, exercise, therapy, and meals. Typically participants attend the center a couple of days per week based on the healthcare team’s recommendations and the needs and interests of the participant.

Your morning begins when the HopeWest van arrives at your front door. The familiar van driver will help you get into the van comfortably. If needed, they will help you bring your laundry to HopeWest PACE.

When you arrive at the HopeWest PACE Center, you may visit with the medical staff, socialize with friends, eat a lunch customized for your dietary needs, and exercise with a physical therapist to maintain strength and mobility.

Additional happenings at the center could include entertainment, board games, or a quiet talk with a social worker.

After a full day at the HopeWest PACE center, the van driver will return you to your home.
